For more than 15 years, my work has been sitting with people in hard moments. Listening first, then helping them find their way through change. In my HR career I guided people through some of life's biggest decisions, always with calm, discretion, and care.
I bring that same approach to your home transition. I will listen to what matters to you, keep you in control, and leave you with a clear written plan.
Your family makes the choices. RightSize helps you plan the next steps.

Common questions
What families often want to know
How do I help my parents downsize without causing family conflict?
Start by listening to what matters to your parents and agreeing who can make each decision. RightSize Home Transitions helps put the choices in writing, separate urgent tasks from sentimental ones, and make each person's next step clear. The Decision-Ready Mini Package gives a family with several decisions a written transition plan. Your family stays in control of the choices.
What should we decide before putting a parent's house on the market?
Clarify where your parent will live, what needs to go with them, who is authorized to decide, and which dates matter. RightSize Home Transitions helps you put those decisions in order through the Decision-Ready Mini Package. Your realtor handles the sale, and legal or financial questions stay with qualified professionals.
How can I coordinate my parent's move when I live in another state?
Long-Distance Family Coordination gives your family local help at the home walkthroughs, realtor meetings, and specialist visits you approve. RightSize Home Transitions keeps a written decision log and sends photos and weekly updates. You approve the hours, providers, and outside costs. Movers and other specialists do the physical work.
What should we do with belongings that won't fit in the new home?
Start with what your parent needs and wants to keep. Then make a plan for the rest, whether that means family gifts, donation, sale, or disposal. A Starter Session can focus on one room or one category. The Decision-Ready Mini Package fits a larger set of decisions. RightSize Home Transitions records the choices and next steps; approved specialists handle the physical work.
More questions
Are you a mover or organizer?
No. RightSize works the way a wedding planner runs a wedding - we make the plan and keep it on track, while movers, organizers and other specialists do the physical work once you approve them.
Do I need to be moving?
No. RightSize can help with relocation, divorce or another family change, downsizing, or another home transition before a move date exists.
Can family members be involved?
Yes. One authorized family contact keeps communication clear.
What if sentimental items need more time?
They can be separated from urgent tasks and revisited at a slower pace. Open decisions stay visible in the plan.
Can my employer offer RightSize?
Yes. We can discuss a limited pilot for employees helping a parent move or planning their own retirement move. The employer pays for agreed planning sessions; each family keeps control of its decisions and outside providers.
Where does RightSize help?
