How do I help my parent downsize without taking over?
Begin with what matters to your parent and which decisions are theirs. RightSize helps name the open choices, agree who needs to be involved, and make a written plan. We do not decide what stays for anyone.
What if family members disagree?
We can put each person's concerns and the unresolved choices on the table, then record what has actually been agreed. The person with the authority to decide keeps the final say. We are not mediators or legal advisers.
Can you help if I live far away?
Yes. Virtual planning is available worldwide. In our in-person service area, On-the-Ground Support can cover appointments you approve, with a written decision log, photos and weekly updates. You decide the hours and outside costs.
What happens in the first consultation?
The free consultation is a chance to explain the situation and see whether our planning services fit. No one has to commit during that consultation.
What will I have after a session?
The Starter Session includes a written next-step list. The Decision-Ready Mini Package includes a written transition plan. We record decisions, open questions, who handles the next steps and the dates that matter. The scope depends on the package you choose.
Do you pack, move, haul or appraise belongings?
No. RightSize plans and coordinates the work you approve. Movers and qualified specialists handle physical or regulated work. The family chooses and pays outside providers directly.
Do I have to be moving now?
No. Planning can begin before there is a move date. We also help with other home transitions, including relocation, divorce or separation, and combining households.
Where do you work?
We offer in-person planning in Evans, Augusta, Atlanta, the CSRA and across the Southeast. Virtual planning is available worldwide.
