What is rightsizing?
Downsizing asks whether you need less space. Rightsizing asks whether the home and belongings you have still fit the life you want to live. A smaller home is one answer, not the only answer.
Before you move a box, ask:
What do you want your daily life to feel like in the next home? Which people, activities and belongings matter most? What space will you actually have, and what is still unknown?
Write the answers down. Put undecided or sentimental things in a 'later' category. If family members have different ideas, name who has the final say before anything is donated or moved.
